Austrian Central Bank Governor says its too early to discuss expanding bond buying
Speaking over the weekend, Austrian Central Bank Governor Ewald Nowotny reiterated his view that it is too soon for the ECB to discuss expanding its bond buying programme beyond September 2016. He also said that he did not believe that the Chinese slowdown would have a big impact on the Eurozone.
However, this morning he suggested that fiscal policy in the bloc may have to become “more expansive”.
