A new Infratest dimap poll for ARD shows the anti-immigration Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) on 19% in the eastern state of Saxony Anhalt, making it the third most popular party behind Merkel’s Christian Democrats (CDU) and the Left. In Baden-Wuerttemberg the AfD polls on 13% and in the neighboring Rhineland Palatinate it is on 9%. All three states go to the polls on March 13.
