New data shows two million EU migrants moved to the UK  in the past decade

New data released yesterday showed that two million EU migrants have arrived in the UK over the past decade, pushing up the population by a seventh in certain areas.

About a third of all migrants went to London.

The Guardian reports that a number of Remain MPs have asked Prime Minister David Cameron to consider asking the EU to look again at the issue of free movement and ways in which the pressures might be addressed if there is a vote to stay in the EU.
