Has anyone noticed that the S&P Financials have all but broken down – down 8.3% in the past wk and relative to the mkt, its RSI has collapsed to Nov. 2016 levels (ahem – when the election was held)? As we saw in 2007, this is a classic late-cycle canary in the coalmine indicator.
