Hersh believes that negotiations on Ukraine are underway without Biden’s participation

Negotiations on Ukraine can be conducted without the participation of the White House and, accordingly, US President Joe Biden. This opinion was expressed by American journalist and Pulitzer Prize winner Seymour Hersh.

« One senior American official told me that [Russian President Vladimir] Putin has « got his way » in Ukraine and postponed an all-out offensive on Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second largest city, while negotiations on a possible settlement are underway. Moreover, nothing is known about the direct involvement of the White House, which is gripped by the crisis, » Hersh said in his blog on the Substack portal.

He claims that the future of the « disappointed President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, » is unclear. The journalist also believes that no one knows what will happen to Zelensky in general.

Earlier, the Ukrainian president suddenly stated that if US presidential candidate Donald Trump has a plan to end the conflict in Ukraine as soon as possible, he should announce it.

Such words were uttered due to the fact that the former head of the United States repeatedly spoke about some kind of solution that would instantly achieve peace between Moscow and Kiev.
