Willy OAMil y a 3 jours (modifié)G’day Guys, This is one where you’ll defiantly have to listen to majority before making up your mind.. I can assure you this gentleman is NOT a supporter of RU. Had to re-upload this as YT only somehow processed 20 mins of the full 105 mins.. Soldier X is on the ground in the area currently and by his experience says much more to help Ukraine could be done, but Western countries (His example AUS) need to take more accountability not just send a weapon, But make sure all parts, equipment and training is conducted. He stated to me over and over that they want to maximise the effect of these west weapons But our own governments are making that possible. The examples were numerous, and the overall picture consistent. This seems like one of the best interviews I’ve seen so far.

You care about the Ukrainians HOWEVER, you won’t allow the cancel mob to dissuade you from having tough discussions. This is VERY important. People that are just screaming how dumb Russia is and how great Ukraine is are missing a very important part of warfare. Good will and wishes WONT fix a broken situation. We need more honest open discussions like the one you had with this gentleman. You visited a channel I started watching long ago. Unfortunately I won’t be watching that one anymore. When someone allows themselves to be so taken away with the cause that they lose the ability to have tough conversations and assess operational realities that person isn’t helping anyone. ESPECIALLY not the Ukrainians. I personally want this war over ASAP. Unfortunately I’m concerned that the Ukrainians may have missed a window to have substantive discussion. I have always believed this would end in a negotiated settlement. Warfare actually rarely provides a decisive defeat. When that type of defeat is achieved the victor has to have MASSIVE means of production / sustainment, manpower equipment and logistical capabilities. Ukrainians lacks to may of those attributes without inputs from other nations. I’m surprised it’s taken as long as it has for the American military leaders to admit this will end in an agreement. The whole world has been whipped up into a frenzy and the nations that participated in inciting that mentality have a significant challenge ahead of them to draw this conflict down at this point. il y a 3 joursAnother tough interview, one of the best. Good stuff Willy, you have once again managed to give everyone an inside view on a world that the rest of the media cant / wont touch. Soldier X is definitely someone you would trust to do his job. But I am concerned though about (what appears to my ears) as a dangerous lack of situational awareness that allowed him to get into this mess in the first place. I would have thought that the current situation on the ground there today would have been half obvious to see that coming in Ukraine from at least 2017. There is no fixing it, and there is no stopping whats to follow. All that, and it hasn’t even started yet. Does he really believe that all these governments are genuinely trying to help Ukraine, but are lacking competence / common sense ? Maybe it’s just confirmation bias on my part, or age or something., but it looks to me like he is putting his life on the chopping block to help out the very same people that are hell bent on destroying Europe. Fuck that. I hope he gets the hell out of there and finds peace back on his home soil.Lire la suite

I found it really interesting that Soldier X thinks we can influence corruption leadership at a line of sight level and help pluck out the weeds. The tactical style of Wagner is ruthless and effective. Baiting the other army to open fire and target them. Providing tanks without integrated nato tactics will end up in being wiped out like in Syria when Turkey attacked with Leopard II without infantry.Lire la suite

Unfortunately alot of pro ukrainans seem to live in some fantasy world, if someone really wants to win a war they have to understand the reality as much as possible. Even when the reality isn’t to your favor. Keep up the good work.

I’m probably going to sound like another know it all, enjoying his freedom too much, while these guys put their lives on the line and Ukrainians die for their freedom. Trying to advise the leadership is almost impossible. Already at a base level we humans don’t like it when others tell us what to do. Now throw in pride, ego, corruption, leadership/management and a sense of entitlement. Excellent interview technique in terms of pacing, tone, questions, leaving room for the other person to elaborate and the follow up questions. Quick alert mind, you are great bud. The only followup question I would have liked was when « Soldier X » said that the Wagnerites are « dickbags », Im kind of interested in knowing what that means in a military setting on a battlefield. The 72 hour claim was not done by any Russian official, it was stated and spread by western media as our friend you are interviewing also confirms in the beginning of the talk. Ukrainian military was largely defeated in late March/early April 2022 when the western powers started propping up Ukraine and flooding the country with Stingers and Iglas and Starstreaks (effectively creating dangerous pockets oh mobile low altitude AD) and Javelins and Nlaws and 250+ upgraded Polish T72s and artillery and very likely a fleet of MIG29s from Slovakia and Poland and the stream hasnt stopped. I’m not a soldier, brain surgeon, or material scientist nor do I have any delusions I could be one without any of the time and fortitude and hard work put in to be one… If people want to help they need to try to do so with what they specialize in, if they even need that kind of help. I want to tell you that your story has; a) inspired me; b) frustrated me with politics ruining the good will that should be put forth and is put forth, yet blindly; 3) given me such a broad perspective, the true perspective that I’ve been searching for from the very beginning of this war. I had been suspecting these sorts of things were occurring from just absorbing tid-bits here and there from interviews, etc., but what you are doing is MEGA-IMPORTANT. I cannot tell you enough. The fact that you are dealing with a life-altering diagnosis only makes your endeavor much more endearing and brings tears to my eyes. I am a nurse, so both understanding your diagnosis, as well as hearing that the wounded are just sent to the rear to die and that they hardly have anything of use in their medical/trauma kits (even with all the billions that have been sent), I’m dumbfounded, heartbroken and angry at the same time. Willy, I tell you with all of the sincerity in my heart that I appreciate you, and I recognize your integrity. Not many have it, and I so admire it when it is shown. Yours shines quite brightly, and if I ever cross paths with you, I will surely hug your neck. I’m in the US and I don’t know how that would work, lol, but please accept my gratitude for your taking the time to talk to people who are there, who have the real stories to tell and who WILL take the risk to share the real stories so people like me can become informed and make better decisions, hopefully on up to our Congress, Parliament, Presidents, Prime Ministers, etc., whatever the country may be.
