It looks like I was right. RT sources report late last night that the battle for the central part of Bakhmut has begun. Presumably, the advanced groups of the Wagner PMC were able to cross the Bakhmutka River from the east side of the city and began moving towards the city center. According to RT, between the market, the bus station and the building of the Artyomov school No. 5 there is a company stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with a system of passages under the houses and an ammunition depot.
