Offensive on Donbass: situation in eastern Ukraine by the end of June 9, 2022

▪️There has been a relative calm in the north of the Kharkiv region due to the regrouping of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
➖ The Ukrainian army made two unsuccessful attempts to recapture Ternove and Varvarovka, retreating and suffering losses.
➖ The RF Armed Forces hit the enemy positions in Udy, Cherkassky Tishki, Svetlichny, Zolochev and Stary Saltov. In the Novobavarsky microdistrict of Kharkov, the positions of the 92nd brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed by a missile attack.
➖ In Udy, Odnorobovka and Konstantinovka, a rotation of the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was carried out. The divisions of the national battalion « Kraken » are training volunteers in Kharkov. Additional MANPADS have been delivered to Cherkassy Tishki, and crews of foreign ATGMs are being prepared in Slatino.

▪️The consistent advance of the allied forces continues in the Donbas.
➖ The battle for Slavyansk has not yet begun, however, the RF Armed Forces were able to take the strategically important Prishib height near Svyatogorsk. Having created a full-fledged bridgehead on the western bank of the Seversky Donets, Russian troops ensured the possibility of defeating the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the vicinity of Slavyansk. The entire territory from Izyum to Rubizhny has been cleared from the APU.
➖In the near future, the RF Armed Forces will continue offensives towards Novonikolaevka, Nikolskoye and Krestishche in order to reach the strategically important city from the west.
➖ The 20th Army of the Russian Armed Forces, advancing from Izyum, continues to fight for the section of the M03 highway near Bogorodichny and Krasnopolye.
➖At Popasnaya, fierce battles continue with units of the 14th OMB at the turn of Yakovlevka – Belogorovka – Berestovoe – Nikolaevka. Kamyshevakha and Svetlanovo station are being cleared.
➖In Severodonetsk, units of the RF Armed Forces took control of the city airport. There are battles for Borovskoye.
➖Near Avdiivka, the People’s Militia of the DPR is fighting for the southern outskirts of New York.
➖ To the north of the Popasnaya side, fierce battles are being fought in the Yakovlevka-Belogorovka-Berestovoe-Nikolaevka section for control of the Bakhmut-Lysichansk highway. In the south, battles continue for the Novolugansk and Uglegorsk TPPs.
➖The Armed Forces of Ukraine are preparing a reserve line of defense behind the Bakhmut-Seversk road in case of a possible breakthrough of the Russian army. Anti-tank units of the 14th brigade, equipped with Western-made anti-tank systems, are deployed in Markovo and Bondarny.
➖ Assault detachments of « PMC Wagner » are developing attacks towards Artemovsk (Bakhmut): fighting is underway on the outskirts of Pokrovsky. Army aviation strikes at the accumulation of manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the building of the school and pre-trial detention center of Bakhmut.
➖ The people’s militia of the LPR, advancing from the south, occupied the eastern part of Katerinovka. The ring of encirclement in Zolotoy is shrinking.
➖ The clashes between the NM DNR and the enemy on the outskirts of New York continue.

▪️In the Zaporozhye direction, artillery duels of the parties and preparations for the offensive continue.
➖ Russian artillery inflicted fire damage on the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Orekhovo.
